At the start of the year 2022, the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) published the 2021 turnover of the active insurance Companies in the United States.
Looking at the figures, it is clear that the industry is doing quite well and is getting more people insured.
As of December 2021, the top 25 life insurers accumulated a whooping 124.49 billion USD, this makes up an approximate 78% of life premiums.
Also, the top 25 leaders in non-life insurance generated a turnover of 404.13 billion USD, which is specifically 70.32% of the non-life insurance market.
